Heard the DNR is increasing fees for state parks. Are they going to raise the price for admission at Redbird too?

went to the offical DNR site and sent them an email, hopefully will know somethnig soon, not sure a small increase would be a bad thing,$10.00 is pretty cheap compared to some other places and what else has not raised their prices

didnt know there was an annual pass for redbird, knew about the 75.00 for 10 trips to the park, or are you talking about the annual state park pass? I have sent the DNR a second email asking if there is a price increase for Redbird, guess we will see what they say, thanks Kenny

Yes, the State Park pass. The entrance sign is very misleading and very confusing to people.

Just sent the 3rd e-mail to the DNR asking if there will be a price increase for Redbird. Not much good them having a contact section if they wont answer your question, thats a pretty easy question, yes or no and the amount, jmo

Bones, Was at the gate today and they brought down the new price increase sheet.
Daily Trail pass will not change.
Only the Annual & Hoosier Senior passes are going up.

have sent the DNR 5 emails asking if there will be any price increases at Redbird and have not gotten any reply back. What great customer service, went to their "offical site" clicked on the link contact us, sent the emails to park and rec. people and nothing. And they wonder why people get flustrated with them, jmo. Again thanks Kenny for answering my question, pretty good when a local person knows more or will tell you more than the people that own and run the place. Local Redbird management is great and they do a wonderful job running the park, it's at the state level where the problems are at, again JMO

I was down at the gatehouse today and they have changed the sign that shows the annual pass to $40 instead of the $36 that it used to cost.

So the annual state park pass covers redbird too? If so even more reason to buy it.

The State Park pass only lets you in for hiking, fishing etc.
It will not cover trail riding. There is a 10 day trail pass for sale at the gatehouse for $75 and can be used by several people at once.
