Any ideas for site

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get more people using the site? 7,155 registered users on site and only 39 on the new forums. It goes for quite a while with no one posting any questions or information.
Are more people using the facebook site? I know the Indiana Four Wheel Drive Association (IFWDA) is thinking of shutting their website down and using facebook only. Just wondering why no one posts much here anymore? Might be a good topic for the next Redbird Foundation meeting!!

I wonder how many of those are real people? The security settings on the old site were really lame and most of the names I saw in there were made by "bots" and other garbage trolling on the net. There are about 750 people signed up for the newsletter as of now, you would think more than ten percent would sign up for it!!! I'm guessing only around 1k of those are real people!
