We had a good time during the Spring Fling on the Saturday I was there. I found out that my FSJ will not fit down trail 26 due to the width. The same with trail 14. I guess I will have shave the fender flares and mirrors. I did climb to the top of the "notch" but risked a side flop at the top, too bad my passenger was busy holding on to get a picture. Also the mud hole at the bottom of Powerline is DEEP this year. ![]() [/img] Attachments:

your jeep should fit on 14 its one of the easier and wider trails at redbird, a dozer has been throught the complete trail, glad you had a good time and keep exploring and you will find even more that your rig can do

Good Catch! I was wrong, Trail 14 was fun when I ran that in 2wd. Trail 21 was the issue not trail 14. That climb was fun on trail 21 where the ground is dug out by that tree root. When I got on top of the ridge on 21 I found a spot I couldnt squeeze thru without my mirrors sheering off. Not too fun backing down that trail in a FSJ! Lots of fun-cant wait to get back!

Trail 21 is the one that my club, the NAXJA-Midwest Chapter has adopted. I can say that a full size will NOT fit on that trail. Our club is mostly Jeep XJ's and we "just" fit.

I did have fun trying it, and since there was a little turn around spot I could catch trail 3 (?) and get out ok. I can tell already my next trail rig will need to be a little skinnier.

I had a chance to squeeze my FSJ down Trail 3 thanks to the help of the guided tour (thanks guys). Spoke with a few people that were at Redbird for the first time and I agree we need to have an updated map! For example where is Trail 2 on the map and is it for bikes, quads, Jeeps? What is the rating for the trail? I found an offshoot on Trail 1 not on the map but was marked with an arrow. I hope to make it to the next meeting and discuss it further there.

At Redbird a couple weeks ago and noticed the begining of a new trail started off of Trail 1. Any information on that such as trail type (Quad/bike or truck) or a rating?
